Johnny played drums with the Don Rader Tribute at The Motor-City Music
Conference. The Don Rader tribute included Jimmy
Bones from Kid Rock's band and Scott Campbell on vocals.

A new CD released titled Motor City Rockin produced by Ron Cooke Johnny's former bass player with the legendary Detroit Band. Other musicians on the CD include Wayne Kramer of The MC5 and Johnny
Thunders of The New York Dolls. The CD is the missing chapter of the soon to be released book Noise, Grit and the revolution by author David Carson.
 The track's include unreleased material by Johnny, Fred Sonic Smith of the MC5, and Ron Cooke. The untold story of the birth of the original Sonics Rendezvous Band. Also included are performances by the city of Detroit's most influential rock musicians setting the stage for what would become known as the most high energy music of it's kind. This CD is a prelude to Johnny's and Ron's current project titled Detroit 2. To purchase this CD visit The Detroit Artists Workshop Group website.

- Steve Badalament of Innovation Drums is building a drum set for Bee and Bee will paint the kit with art from one of his very own paintings. Innovation Drums is considered the "Rolls Royce" of drums.

- Bee will be at the Detroit Music Awards, April 20th at the State Theatre (Flyer). Bee will be performing with Don Was. They will do a tribute to Don Rader,
one of the first rock-a-billy singer's to have a hit record in Michigan in
the late fifties early sixties.
In case you already don't know,
Don Was is currently producing the new Rolling Stones record.

- Johnny contributes to the "Sesame Workshop Education Video: Talking with Children about Life Threatening Conditions". Read about it here. Bee wrote a song for his grandkids called "Amanda's Song". Sam Callie wants to use it on the Tears Of Love cd. We will let you know when it is released.

- Bee's been writing songs with a new band, The Stammering Flames, supplying "Garagerock" for Little Steven Van Zandt and his New York underground garage radio show.
